This Air Fryer Pizza recipe is a quick and easy way to enjoy delicious homemade mini pizzas using biscuit dough as the crust. Perfect for a snack or a crowd-pleasing appetizer, these pizzas are topped with classic pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese, and pepperoni, then cooked to crispy perfection in the air fryer in just minutes.

Ingredients

Dough

  • 2 cans Biscuits (7.5 oz can each, total 20 biscuits)

Toppings

  • 1 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 1/2 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 3 cups Mozzarella Cheese (shredded)
  • 60 slices Pepperoni or your favorite pizza topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat the air fryer: Preheat your air fryer to 375°F. If your air fryer lacks a preheat option, run it at 375°F for 5 minutes to ensure it reaches the right temperature.
  2. Prepare the basket: Lightly grease the bottom of the air fryer basket with spray olive oil or rub olive oil to prevent sticking.
  3. Flatten the biscuit dough: Take each biscuit and flatten it out to form a mini pizza base. Depending on your air fryer size, place 2-3 flattened biscuits in the basket at a time, cooking in batches if needed.
  4. Add sauce: Spread a spoonful of pizza sauce evenly over each flattened biscuit to build the base of your pizza.
  5. Top with cheese and pepperoni: Generously sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce, then top each mini pizza with slices of pepperoni or your preferred toppings.
  6. Cook the pizzas: Air fry the pizzas at 375°F for 7-8 minutes until the biscuit edges turn golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Cool and serve: Carefully remove the pizzas from the air fryer and transfer them to a plate or a cooling rack to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the pizzas in batches.
  • You can customize your pizzas with various toppings like mushrooms, olives, bell peppers, or cooked sausage.
  • Use shredded cheddar cheese as an alternative or in combination with mozzarella for a different flavor profile.
  • For extra crispiness, you can brush a little olive oil on the edges of the biscuit dough before cooking.
  • Make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer basket for even cooking.
