This Air Fryer Peach Crisp recipe is a quick and easy summer dessert featuring juicy fresh peaches topped with a crunchy oat mixture. Prepared entirely in an air fryer, it’s perfect for a no-oven-needed treat that comes together in just about 25 minutes from start to finish. The crisp topping combines oats, brown sugar, butter, and cinnamon for a delightful balance of texture and flavor, making it ideal to serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.

Ingredients

Fruit Filling

  • 4 large peaches, peeled, pitted, and diced into approximately ½” cubes (about 2 cups of fruit)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Crisp Topping

  • ½ cup old fashioned or rolled oats
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup cold salted butter, cubed
  • ¼ cup all purpose flour
  • ½ tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Ramekins: Grease your 4 ramekins or an oven-safe dish that fits your air fryer basket to prevent sticking during cooking.
  2. Mix the Fruit Filling: In a mixing bowl, combine the diced peaches, lemon juice, cornstarch, vanilla extract, and ½ tsp cinnamon. Stir thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated, ensuring the peaches are coated to help thicken the filling during cooking.
  3. Arrange the Fruit: Spread the peach mixture evenly into the prepared ramekins or dish, creating a uniform base layer for the crisp topping.
  4. Prepare the Crisp Topping: In another bowl, combine the oats, brown sugar, cold cubed salted butter, flour, and ½ tsp cinnamon. Mix with your hands or a spatula until the mixture becomes crumbly and the butter is evenly distributed throughout.
  5. Top the Fruit: Evenly distribute the oat topping over the peach filling in each ramekin or dish, creating a consistent layer that will brown nicely during cooking.
  6. Air Fry the Crisp: Place the ramekins or dish into your air fryer basket or on the rack. Cook on the air fry setting at 350°F for 15 minutes, or until the topping is golden brown and crisp and the peach filling is bubbly. Adjust cooking time as needed based on your air fryer model and dish size.
  7. Serve: Allow the peach crisp to cool slightly to help the topping set, about 10-15 minutes. Serve warm, optionally with ice cream or whipped cream for extra indulgence.

Notes

  • You can substitute fresh peaches with canned peaches (in juice, drained and diced) or frozen peaches that have been properly defrosted.
  • The vanilla extract can be replaced with almond or raspberry extract to create alternate flavor profiles such as melba.
  • If desired, cinnamon can be adjusted or omitted. Other warm spices like ginger can be used to customize the flavor to your liking.
  • Allow the crisp to rest for 10-15 minutes after cooking to let the topping become crunchier as it cools.
  • Nutritional values may vary depending on ingredient brands, substitutions, toppings, and portion sizes.
