  • ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt (or plain Greek yogurt with a splash of vanilla extract)

Fruits

  • 1 medium apple, cored and sliced
  • ½ cup frozen pineapple

Other Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons walnuts
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon (or substitute with apple pie spice or pumpkin pie spice)

Instructions

  1. Add liquids: Pour ½ cup of milk into the blender first to facilitate smoother blending.
  2. Add remaining ingredients: Add ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons walnuts, ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon, the sliced apple, and ½ cup frozen pineapple on top of the milk.
  3. Blend: Blend all the ingredients together until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency.
  4. Serve: Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Nutrition information is based on using 1% milk, but any milk (cow’s, almond, coconut) can be used.
  • Vanilla Greek yogurt can be substituted with plain Greek yogurt plus a splash of vanilla extract, or replace yogurt with ½ a banana for creamy texture.
  • Frozen fruits help thicken the smoothie; using all fresh fruits will result in a thinner texture.
  • Cinnamon can be swapped with apple pie spice or pumpkin pie spice blends for variety.
