Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar (or other dry sweetener)
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

Wet Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup almond milk

Add-ins

  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips
  • Optional: sea salt flakes for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a microwave-safe mug or ramekin, thoroughly mix together the oat flour, chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, and baking powder to create an even dry base.
  2. Add Wet Ingredients: Pour in the almond milk to the dry mixture and stir until fully combined without lumps.
  3. Incorporate Chocolate Chips: Stir in half of the chocolate chips into the batter, then sprinkle the remaining chocolate chips evenly over the top of the mixture for melty pockets of chocolate.
  4. Microwave Cooking: Microwave the mug cake on high for 60 to 80 seconds. Begin checking after 30 seconds and then every 10 seconds until the cake has risen to the top of the mug and is set but still moist.
