These Crockpot Chocolate Peanut Clusters are a delicious and easy no-bake treat combining salty peanuts, creamy peanut butter, and rich semi-sweet chocolate with tangy dried cranberries and a touch of flaky sea salt. Prepared in a slow cooker, these clusters are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth with minimal effort and yield 36 bite-sized pieces.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 (16-ounce) can salted cocktail peanuts
  • 1 (10-ounce) bag semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¾ cup natural creamy peanut butter
  • 1 ½ cups dried cranberries
  • Flaky sea salt for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare baking sheets: Line 2 large rimmed baking sheets with parchment paper and set them aside to cool the clusters once formed.
  2. Melt ingredients: Place the salted peanuts, semi-sweet chocolate chips, and creamy peanut butter into the bottom of a slow cooker. Optionally stir to combine, then cover with the lid and cook on low heat for 1 to 2 hours until the chocolate and peanut butter are fully melted and smooth.
  3. Add dried cranberries: Remove the slow cooker lid and stir in the dried cranberries until evenly incorporated into the melted mixture.
  4. Scoop clusters: Using a small scoop or spoon, drop the chocolate mixture by 1-2 tablespoons onto the prepared parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing them apart to form individual clusters. Lightly sprinkle flaky sea salt over the tops of each mound.
  5. Chill clusters: Refrigerate the baking sheets for 1 to 2 hours or until the clusters are firm and set.
  6. Store clusters: Once set, transfer the clusters to an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 2 weeks. For longer storage, freeze the clusters.

Notes

  • If desired, substitute salted cocktail peanuts with unsalted and add a pinch of salt to taste.
  • Use natural creamy peanut butter without added sugar or oils for best texture.
  • The clusters can be frozen in an airtight container for up to 3 months.
  • For a nut-free version, replace peanuts with pretzel pieces and use seed butter instead of peanut butter.
  • Ensure clusters are fully set before storing to prevent sticking.
