This healthier ranch dressing recipe offers the creamy, tangy flavor of classic ranch but uses Greek yogurt as a nutritious base. It’s quick and easy to prepare in just 5 minutes, making it a perfect addition to salads or as a flavorful dip. With ingredients like lemon juice, olive oil, and dried herbs, it’s both delicious and wholesome.

Ingredients

Dressing Ingredients

  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt (whole fat, not non-fat)
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice (from about 2 lemons)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 – 3 tablespoons water (or more, to adjust consistency)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: Add Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, dried dill, salt, and 1 tablespoon of water into a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend: Blend all ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If the dressing is too thick, gradually add more water, blending to reach the desired consistency.
  3. Serve: Use immediately on your favorite salads or as a dip for vegetables and snacks.
  4. Store: Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate. It will keep fresh for up to 1 week.

Notes

  • You can adjust the water amount to make the dressing thinner or thicker based on your preference.
  • Whole fat Greek yogurt is recommended for best texture and flavor, but you can experiment with lower-fat versions if desired.
  • Ensure to store the dressing in the fridge to maintain freshness and safety.
  • Fresh herbs can be substituted for dried herbs if preferred; use about three times the amount of fresh herbs.
