This colorful and festive Jelly Bean Bark is an easy-to-make sweet treat perfect for spring celebrations or anytime you want a fun and fruity dessert. Melted white candy coating is spread thin, topped with vibrant jelly beans, and allowed to set for a delightful combination of creamy sweetness and chewy candy bursts.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon salted butter
  • pounds white candy coating melting chocolate, chopped
  • 2 cups small jelly beans

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pan: Line a 15x10x1-inch pan with foil and grease the foil with the salted butter to prevent sticking and make removal easier.
  2. Melt the chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white candy coating by microwaving in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth and fully melted.
  3. Spread the coating: Pour and spread the melted white candy coating evenly into the prepared pan creating a thin layer.
  4. Add jelly beans: Evenly top the white candy coating with the small jelly beans, gently pressing them into the chocolate so they adhere properly.
  5. Let it set: Allow the bark to stand at room temperature until fully set and firm, approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
  6. Cut and store: Once set, cut or break the bark into pieces and store in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

Notes

  • If the candy coating thickens while working, gently reheat in short bursts for a few seconds to restore smoothness.
  • Use high-quality jelly beans for better flavor and color variety.
  • Store the bark in a cool, dry place; refrigeration can cause the candy to sweat.
  • This recipe is great for customizing with different types of candy or sprinkles.
