Neiman Marcus Dip is a creamy, savory appetizer featuring a blend of cream cheese, mayonnaise, sharp cheddar, and aromatic spices, complemented by crunchy toasted almonds and crispy bacon. Quick and easy to prepare, this flavorful dip is perfect for gatherings and pairs well with crackers or vegetables.

Ingredients

Almonds

  • 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds

Bacon

  • 6 slices thick-cut pre-cooked bacon

Dip Base

  • 8 ounce block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup mayonnaise

Additional Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

Instructions

  1. Toast Almonds: Place 1/2 cup sliced or slivered almonds in a small skillet over low to medium heat. Stir continuously until the almonds start to turn a light golden brown, making sure they do not burn. Once toasted, immediately transfer them to a bowl to cool. This step is optional based on personal preference.
  2. Cook Bacon: Heat 6 slices of thick-cut pre-cooked bacon either in an air fryer or skillet until they become crispy and crumbly. Remove from heat and crumble the bacon into small pieces.
  3. Mix Cream Cheese and Mayonnaise: In a mixing bowl, combine the softened 8-ounce block of cream cheese with 1 cup mayonnaise. Stir thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients: To the cream cheese mixture, add 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup sliced green onions, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 teaspoon hot sauce (if using), 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon onion powder. Mix well to fully incorporate all ingredients. Reserve some toasted almonds, bacon pieces, and green onions for optional topping.
  5. Optional Topping and Serve: Sprinkle the top of the dip with the reserved almonds, bacon, and green onions for added texture and flavor. Serve immediately and enjoy!

  • Use pre-cooked bacon for convenience and to speed up preparation.
