Marinade:
¼ cup light soy sauce
1 ½ tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger
1 clove garlic, minced
Salmon:
1 pound salmon fillets
1 teaspoon sesame oil
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare Marinade: Whisk soy sauce, honey, ginger, and garlic together in a bowl until the marinade is evenly mixed. Reserve 1/4 of the marinade.
Marinate Salmon: Place salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the remaining marinade over them. Cover and refrigerate for 5 minutes.
Cook Salmon: Heat sesame oil in a skillet. Remove salmon from marinade, cook skin-side up for 4 minutes. Flip, add reserved marinade and sesame seeds. Cook until flaky, about 5-7 minutes. Remove skin and cook for an additional minute.
