Sweet caramelized air fryer peaches make a simple and delightful summer dessert that can be prepared in just minutes. Halved ripe peaches are brushed with melted coconut oil, coated with a fragrant cinnamon-coconut sugar mix, and air fried until golden and caramelized. Served warm and optionally garnished with chopped walnuts, fresh mint, or vanilla ice cream, this dessert is quick, healthy, and bursting with natural sweetness.

Ingredients

Peaches

  • 4 ripe yet firm peaches, halved

Seasoning

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

For garnish

  • Chopped walnuts
  • Fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare cinnamon sugar. In a small bowl, combine the coconut sugar and cinnamon thoroughly to create a sweet and aromatic seasoning blend.
  2. Brush peaches. Place the peach halves cut side up on a plate and generously brush each cut side with the melted coconut oil to help the sugar stick and promote caramelization.
  3. Coat peaches. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the oiled peach halves, ensuring each is well coated for maximum flavor.
  4. Air fry peaches. Arrange the seasoned peaches in the air fryer basket or on a tray (depending on your air fryer model), placing them cut side up. Cook at 400°F (204°C) for 8-10 minutes until the peaches are golden, tender, and caramelized on top.
  5. Serve warm. Remove the peaches carefully from the air fryer. Serve them warm, garnished with chopped walnuts and fresh mint leaves if desired. Optionally, add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for an indulgent twist.

Notes

  • Choose peaches that are ripe but still firm to ensure they hold their shape during air frying.
  • If you don’t have an air fryer, you can caramelize peaches under a broiler for 5-7 minutes instead, watching carefully to avoid burning.
  • For a vegan version, ensure the vanilla ice cream and any garnishes align with your dietary preferences.
  • Adjust cinnamon and sugar quantities to taste, especially if your peaches are very sweet.
  • Leftover air fried peaches can be refrigerated and enjoyed cold or gently reheated within 1-2 days.
