Cheese Stuffed Biscuits are a quick and delicious snack featuring warm, golden-baked biscuits filled with melted mozzarella cheese. Enhanced with a flavorful garlic and parsley butter glaze, these cheesy treats are perfect for gatherings, appetizers, or a delightful addition to any meal.

Ingredients

Biscuits

  • 1 can Refrigerated Biscuits (8 biscuits)
  • 6 ounces Mozzarella Cheese

Garlic Butter Glaze

  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Parsley (or fresh parsley)
  • Salt, to taste (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (204°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat to prevent sticking and set it aside.
  2. Prepare the cheese filling: Cut the mozzarella cheese into 8 equal pieces, one for each biscuit.
  3. Wrap the biscuits: Take one biscuit and carefully wrap it around a piece of mozzarella cheese, pinching the seams to seal completely. Place the sealed side down on the prepared baking sheet. Repeat this process for each biscuit and piece of cheese.
  4. Bake the biscuits: Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and firm to the touch.
  5. Make the garlic butter glaze: While the biscuits bake, melt the butter in a small bowl or saucepan. Whisk in the garlic powder and dried or fresh parsley. If the butter is unsalted, add salt to taste.
  6. Glaze the biscuits: As soon as the biscuits come out of the oven, brush them generously with the garlic butter mixture to give them a flavorful, glossy finish.

Notes

  • You can substitute mozzarella with any melting cheese like cheddar or Monterey Jack for varied flavors.
  • For fresh parsley, finely chop before adding to the butter.
  • If refrigerated biscuits are unavailable, you can use homemade biscuit dough.
  • Serve warm for the best molten cheese texture.
  • These cheddar-stuffed biscuits pair well with marinara sauce or a side salad for a fuller snack or meal.
