Delicious and easy-to-make Chocolate Peanut Clusters featuring smooth melted milk chocolate and crunchy salted roasted peanuts. These bite-sized treats are perfect for quick snacks or sharing, requiring just three ingredients and under an hour to prepare and chill.

Ingredients

Chocolate

  • 1 (10-oz.) pkg. milk chocolate-flavored melting wafers (about 2 cups) (such as Ghirardelli)
  • 1 (11 1/2-oz.) pkg. milk chocolate chips (about 2 cups)

Nuts

  • 1 (16-oz.) container salted roasted peanuts (about 3 1/4 cups)

Instructions

  1. Prepare ingredients and baking sheet: Gather all ingredients and line an 18- x 13-inch baking sheet with parchment paper. Set the prepared sheet aside for later.
  2. Melt chocolate: Place chocolate wafers and chocolate chips in a medium, microwavable bowl. Microwave on HIGH, stirring every 30 seconds to ensure even melting, until the mixture is smooth and fully melted, approximately 2 to 3 minutes.
  3. Add peanuts: Stir the salted roasted peanuts into the melted chocolate until they are completely coated and evenly distributed.
  4. Scoop clusters: Using a tablespoon, scoop the chocolate-peanut mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping clusters approximately 2 to 2 1/2 inches wide.
  5. Chill clusters: Place the baking sheet uncovered in the refrigerator and chill the clusters until they set, about 30 minutes to 1 hour. Before serving, let them stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.

Notes

  • Use parchment paper to prevent clusters from sticking to the baking sheet and for easy cleanup.
  • Make sure to stir the chocolate every 30 seconds during melting to avoid burning and ensure smooth texture.
  • Allow clusters to come to room temperature slightly before serving for optimal flavor and texture.
  • Store in an airtight container to maintain freshness and prevent absorption of refrigerator odors.
