A refreshing and aromatic herbal tea made with fresh rosemary sprigs, perfect for a calming and flavorful beverage. Sweetened with honey and brightened with lemon, this easy rosemary tea is quick to prepare and soothing to drink.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • Boiling water (approximately 1 cup)
  • Honey or agave syrup (to taste)
  • 1 lemon wedge

Instructions

  1. Boil water: Bring approximately 1 cup of water to a rolling boil using a kettle or stovetop pot.
  2. Prepare rosemary: Thoroughly wash the fresh rosemary sprigs to remove any dirt or impurities.
  3. Steep rosemary: Place the rosemary sprigs in a mug and pour the boiling water over them. Allow the herbs to steep for 5 minutes. Alternatively, you can chop the rosemary leaves and place them in a tea strainer before steeping for a stronger flavor.
  4. Finish and serve: Remove the rosemary sprigs or tea strainer from the mug. Stir in a drizzle of honey or agave syrup and squeeze in the lemon wedge. Mix well and enjoy your aromatic rosemary tea.

Notes

  • Adjust the sweetness to your preference by adding more or less honey or agave syrup.
  • You can use agave syrup as a vegan-friendly alternative to honey.
  • Steeping time can be increased for a stronger rosemary flavor but avoid over-steeping to prevent bitterness.
  • Lemon juice enhances the tea’s flavor and adds a boost of vitamin C.
  • Use fresh rosemary rather than dried for the best aroma and taste.
