The Green Tea Shot is a refreshing and easy-to-make cocktail shot that combines smooth Irish whiskey, sweet peach schnapps, and tangy sour mix, topped with a splash of lemon-lime soda. Perfect for parties or casual gatherings, this vibrant shot delivers a balanced flavor with a hint of citrus and fruity sweetness.

Ingredients

Liquor

  • ½ ounce Jameson Irish Whiskey
  • ½ ounce peach schnapps

Mixers

  • ½ ounce sour mix
  • 1 splash lemon-lime soda

Garnish

  • lime wedges (optional, for serving)

Instructions

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add ½ ounce of Jameson Irish Whiskey, ½ ounce of peach schnapps, and ½ ounce of sour mix along with ice. For multiple servings, double or triple the quantities and use one shaker to prepare all shots at once.
  2. Shake: Secure the lid on the shaker and give it a vigorous shake for about 10 seconds to properly mix and chill the ingredients.
  3. Pour: Strain the mixture into shot glasses, filling each about three-quarters full to leave room for the soda.
  4. Top Off with Soda: Add a splash of lemon-lime soda on top of each shot to add a fizzy and light citrus finish. Serve immediately with lime wedges if desired and enjoy!

Notes

  • Sour mix can be store-bought or homemade by combining lemon juice, lime juice, sugar, and water.
  • Shake the mixture well with plenty of ice to ensure the shot is nicely chilled.
  • Adjust the lemon-lime soda quantity based on how fizzy and sweet you want the final shot.
  • Serve immediately for the best fizz and flavor.
  • Can be scaled up easily for larger parties by multiplying the ingredient quantities.
