Ingredients

For the Cocktail

  • 0.5 oz lemon thyme simple syrup
  • 4 oz Prosecco
  • 1 oz soda water
  • 12 sprigs of thyme
  • Optional garnish: lemon wheel

Instructions

  1. Add Lemon Thyme Syrup: Pour 0.5 oz of lemon thyme simple syrup into a wine glass to serve as the cocktail’s flavorful base.
  2. Fill with Ice: Add ice cubes into the glass to chill the ingredients and keep the drink cold.
  3. Top with Prosecco and Soda Water: Carefully pour 4 oz of Prosecco and 1 oz of soda water into the glass, layering the bubbles for a light texture.
  4. Gently Stir: Use a bar spoon or stirrer to gently combine the ingredients without losing the carbonation.
  5. Garnish and Serve: Decorate the drink with a sprig of thyme and a lemon wheel on the rim or inside the glass for an extra touch of aroma and visual appeal.

Notes

  • Adjust the amount of soda water to taste for a lighter or stronger fizz.
  • The lemon thyme simple syrup can be prepared in advance to save time.
  • Use chilled Prosecco and soda water for optimal refreshment.
  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute Prosecco with sparkling white grape juice.
