This Strawberry Oreo Ice Cream is a creamy, no-churn dessert combining the fresh, fruity flavor of strawberries with the rich crunch of Oreo cookies. Made with sweetened condensed milk and whipped heavy cream, it requires minimal ingredients and effort, making it a perfect homemade treat for any occasion. Simply pulse fresh strawberries, crush Oreos, fold everything together, and freeze overnight for a deliciously satisfying ice cream without the need for an ice cream maker.

Ingredients

Ice Cream Base

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries (remove stems)
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Add-ins

  • 6 Oreo cookies (crushed)

Instructions

  1. Pulse Strawberries: Pulse fresh strawberries in a food processor until broken down but still chunky to retain texture in the ice cream.
  2. Whip Heavy Cream: Using a stand mixer, beat the heavy cream until it forms stiff peaks, resembling whipped cream.
  3. Crush Oreos: Crush Oreo cookies into small pieces by hand or with a rolling pin, leaving some chunks for added crunch.
  4. Combine Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract. Fold in the pulsed strawberries and crushed Oreos gently. Then carefully fold in the whipped cream until the mixture is evenly combined without deflating the cream.
  5. Freeze: Transfer the mixture to an 8×8 inch dish. Cover tightly with plastic wrap and freeze overnight for at least 12 hours to allow the ice cream to set.
  6. Serve: Once frozen, scoop and serve the ice cream with your favorite toppings and enjoy the creamy, fruity, and crunchy dessert.

Notes

  • Do not over-process strawberries; keep some chunks for texture.
  • Gently fold whipped cream to maintain airiness for a soft ice cream texture.
  • You can replace Oreos with any other crushed cookies or chocolate for variation.
  • This recipe requires no ice cream machine and is perfect for beginners.
  • Allow ice cream to soften slightly at room temperature before scooping for easier serving.
