A quick and refreshing Super Easy Berry Smoothie made with mixed berries, banana, yogurt, and milk. Perfect for a healthy breakfast or snack, this smoothie blends creamy and fruity flavors with natural sweetness and optional vanilla and honey for extra taste.

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 9 oz mixed berries (frozen, about 2 cups; or fresh)
  • 1 banana (medium-sized)
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 Tbsp honey

Instructions

  1. Prepare Frozen Fruit: Peel and slice the banana the night before and freeze it to achieve a cold, fresh smoothie without adding ice. You can also freeze the berries if fresh ones aren’t available.
  2. Add Ingredients to Blender: Pour the milk and yogurt into the blender, followed by the mixed berries and the frozen banana slices. Add vanilla extract and honey to taste, plus any additional toppings or flavor enhancers desired.
  3. Blend Smoothly: Secure the blender lid and blend until smooth and creamy, ensuring all the ingredients are well combined for a perfect texture.
  4. Serve and Garnish: Pour the smoothie into a glass or large mason jar. For a refreshing touch, add a sprig of fresh mint or any other preferred garnishes before serving.

Notes

  • Freezing the banana and berries ahead of time creates a colder, thicker smoothie without diluting the flavor with ice.
  • Use dairy or plant-based milk according to preference or dietary needs.
  • The smoothie can be sweetened more or less by adjusting the amount of honey.
  • Optional vanilla extract adds depth of flavor but can be omitted.
  • Adding fresh mint or other toppings can enhance presentation and taste.
