Tinto de Verano is a refreshing and simple Spanish wine cocktail made with red wine and lemon-flavored sparkling soda. Perfect for hot summer days, this easy-to-make drink combines chilled Rebellious Red Blend with lemon soda and ice, garnished with a lemon slice for a vibrant, citrusy twist.

Ingredients

Ingredients

  • Ice, as needed
  • 2 oz Rebellious Red Blend, chilled
  • 2 oz lemon sparkling soda, chilled (alternatively citrus club soda, sparkling lemonade, or soda water with simple syrup and a squeeze of lemon)
  • 1 lemon slice, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Add Ice: Place several ice cubes into a glass to keep the drink refreshingly cold.
  2. Pour Red Wine: Add 2 ounces of chilled Rebellious Red Blend over the ice.
  3. Add Lemon Soda: Pour 2 ounces of chilled lemon sparkling soda into the glass with the wine and ice.
  4. Garnish and Serve: Garnish the drink with a slice of lemon and serve immediately. Cheers!

Notes

  • You can prepare a pitcher for serving a crowd by maintaining the 1:1 ratio of red wine to lemon soda.
  • For a 750 ml bottle of red wine, mix with 750 ml (about 3 cups) of chilled lemon soda.
  • Keep ice separate until ready to serve to avoid dilution in the pitcher.
