A creamy and tangy whipped feta dip delicately infused with spicy Aleppo chilli and aromatic thyme honey, topped with crunchy toasted hazelnuts and fresh thyme leaves. Perfect as a flavorful appetizer or spread for bread and crackers.

Ingredients

Whipped Feta

  • 200g Feta
  • 100g Greek Yoghurt
  • Pinch of Salt

Chilli Honey

  • 1 tbsp Runny Honey
  • ½ tsp Aleppo Chilli Flakes
  • ½ tsp Dried Thyme

To Garnish

  • 15g Hazelnuts, toasted and roughly chopped
  • Pinch of Thyme Leaves

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chilli Honey: In a small bowl, combine the runny honey, Aleppo chilli flakes, and dried thyme. Allow the mixture to infuse so the flavors meld. For quicker infusion, heat the honey in the microwave for 30 seconds before combining.
  2. Make the Whipped Feta: Place the feta and Greek yoghurt into a food processor. Blitz until the mixture is smooth and achieves a light, whipped texture. Season with a pinch of salt to taste.
  3. Assemble and Serve: Transfer the whipped feta to a shallow bowl or plate. Drizzle the infused chilli honey evenly over the top. Sprinkle with toasted hazelnuts and fresh thyme leaves for garnish. Serve immediately as a spread or dip.
